Responsibilities:

• Testing and evaluation of functional safety in process plants in the chemical industry, taking into account cybersecurity requirements
• Preparation of safety plans and reports according to IEC 61511
• Support in the preparation of risk analyses and evaluation of safety requirements
• Support with the integration of security functions into the process architecture
• Conducting security audits and reviews
• Advice on compliance with laws, regulations and technical rules and their interpretation in the interests of the company

Requirements:

• Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering or comparable
• At least 3 years of experience in automation planning or EMR maintenance for chemical process plants
• Knowledge of safety instrumented systems (SIS), safety integrity level (SIL) and safety requirement specifications (SRS)
• In-depth knowledge of IEC 61511 and other relevant safety standards
• Experience in carrying out risk analyses and evaluating or implementing safety requirements using process control technology
• Experience in working with other departments and external partners
• Very good communication skills as well as strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Fluent written and spoken German and English
