Controller

Our client is a leading manufacturer of beauty products based in Chicago. We're seeking a Controller to oversee financial management, reporting to the Director.

Responsibilites

• Manage financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and reporting.
• Implement internal controls and procedures.
• Prepare financial reports and analysis.
• Coordinate budgeting and planning processes.
• Collaborate with auditors and regulatory agencies.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in accounting and finance, implementing relevant updates and enhancements as needed.
• Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of finance/accounting experience, with leadership experience preferred.
• Industry experience in manufacturing or consumer goods is preferred.
• Strong technical skills in GAAP, financial analysis, and Excel.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

$120,000 - $150,000 a year
