- Interface with systems engineers and calibration engineers to fully understand the requirements;
- Lead the assessment and document the impacts against regulatory or functional safety requirement;
- Lead the development of diagnostic strategies and communicate the strategies very clearly in writing, both email and presentations, with global stakeholders;
- Markup models to ensure the design meets diagnostic requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Mechatronic or Electrical Engineering, or related Engineering field;
- Fluent English;
- Experience with automotive systems, control systems, ECU, hydraulic system, electric physics, combustion physics;
- Knowledge of one or more of the following: propulsion systems: Engine, driveline, hybrid Powertrain, electric / hydraulic components etc;
- Knowledge in IC and hybrid engine;
- V-cycle software development process;
- Experience with Problem Solving techniques (DFMEA, DFSS, DVPR, Reactive methods);
- Basic experience AGILE/Scrum;
- Application Life cycle management tools (RTC/ALM);
- Development processes, procedures, and architectures (aSPICE, PLE, AUTOSAR, vehicle functional safety);
- Advanced experience with Matlab and Simulink;
- High experience with ETAS INCA, Canalyzer, Candela (vector tools);
- Software development (C, C++ Programming);
- Microsoft Office applications (Excel / Word / PowerPoint / Gsuite).
