Who You Are:

We are seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist (Recruiter) who thrives in the vibrant world of the creator economy, social media and gaming. This is a full-time position based at our office in Melbourne.

With a deep understanding of the pivotal roles spanning Production, Creative, Packaging (Thumbnails), Post-Production and Operations particularly in YouTube and gaming content, you are well-versed in identifying and attracting top-tier talent in these fields.

Your Responsibilities and Skills:

• Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and hiring.
• Develop robust talent pipelines across various roles in Production, Creative, Packaging (Thumbnails), Post-Production and Operations
• Manage HR projects, including recruitment campaigns and initiatives, to align with Spawnpoint Media’s strategic objectives.
• Utilise Social media (Twitter, LinkedIn), Discord and professional networks to engage with potential candidates, enhancing our employer brand and expanding our reach.
• Leverage your knowledge of the creative economy communities to connect with and attract candidates who are not only skilled but passionate about the industry.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Talent Acquisition, specifically in either the social media, creator economy, gaming, e-sports, or media production industries. Preferably experience in the creator economy.
• Ideally experience in a "start-up" work environment.
• Familiarity with YouTube content, having watched it regularly; and understanding the ecosystem. Ideally having watching gaming YouTube content.
• Strong networking skills with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and stakeholders across various platforms.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
