Thecompany provides CRO services to international pharmaceutical laboratories,biotech companies and start-ups. The in vivo team (8 membersfor now, growing) is specialized in preclinical studies andneurodegenerativediseases (Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, ALS,…).

They arelooking for a highly motivated In vivo Group Leader (M/F/X).

🚀 MISSIONS

Reporting to the PharmacologyDirector, you will manage the in vivo & PK platform and customers'preclinical projects, supervising laboratory tasks of the team (behavior,stereotactic surgery, histology, molecular biology, etc.). You may alsoparticipate in the company's R&D projects and research presentations.

Your main tasks will be :

- Plan studies and ensure the proper organizational functioning ofthe team (planning, vacations,recruitment, etc.).

- Draft and apply internallaboratory procedures and applicable regulations.

- Carry out statistical analysesof results, format results and draft study reports forclients

- Manage the animal facility and 2 zoo-technicians

- Draft project applications for ethics committees

🧑‍🚀 RESEARCHED PROFILE

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

You havea PhD in pharmacology or neuroscience.

You haveat least five years' experience as a Project Manager or Team Leader and you notonly have academic experience, but also experience in a private company.

TECHNICAL SPHERE

• Scientific knowledge of neurodegenerative diseases
• Expertise in pharmacology studies
• Expertise in preclinical studies on mice and rats (handling, restraint, injection, behavioral tests, surgery, etc.)
• You know how to manage a project and make sure it finishes on time and on budget.
• Good writing skills (protocols, study reports, etc.)
• Experience in team management
• You're fluent in English
