We are looking for an experienced Software Developer, Digital Solutions, IT to take a leading role in providing new approaches and continuous improvements of Kemira’s customer-facing IT solutions.
You will be part of the Digital Solutions unit located in our HQ in Helsinki. You have an opportunity to work in the center of Kemira Digital business development and operations from a software development point of view, ranging from technical work to architectural design and technological decisions.
You will join an internal team of senior fellow coders to help you onboard in the beginning and solve issues in the future, in addition to a selected group of external experts to support you on your way.

As a Sr Software Developer, you will have responsibility for the technical design and development of Kemira’s customer-facing digital products & platforms. In addition, help to spread the DevOps knowledge and practices between development teams.
Whom are we looking for
To succeed in Sr. Software Developer’s role, you need to tick the following boxes:
- 5+ years of hands-on development experience
- Fluent in one of these languages: Java, C#, Typescript
- Experience with React, Node.js, Python
- Experience with relational databases
- Experience with Terraform and Docker. Kubernetes is a plus.
- Experience with Azure/Cloud, Azure Devops & CI/CD
- DevOps mentality and ways of working, can-do attitude, independent and long-distance team working skills
- Desire to do hands-on work on solving technical challenges, testing the development increments.
- Capability to work with internal and/or external customers with strong communication and influencing skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English
