After years of research, Planted was founded in July 2019 as a spin-off from ETH Zurich. Our revolutionary plan will make the world a better place. We structure meats from plants that is no way inferior to animal meat, scores with unique taste, and authentic texture, and is miles ahead in terms of sustainability and health!

Your mission:

• You continuously review and improve the production planning process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• You support the production planning process at our Kemptthal site and with various external partners.
• You monitor production status against forecasts, anticipate potential issues, align priorities with key stakeholders, develop contingency plans to ensure on-time and in-full delivery, and identify root causes of delays to continuously mitigate risks.
• You facilitate the transition from a single-site to a multi-site environment, including integrating a new site in Bavaria into long-term capacity planning.
• You track production planning accuracy and develop improvement measures that result in cost reduction, lead time reduction, and inventory reduction.
• You convert the confirmed production plan into production orders in our ERP system and conduct hand-over meetings with the manufacturing team for detailed shop-floor planning.
• You create, review, and maintain planning-relevant master data in the ERP system.
• You ensure and oversee materials management (raw materials, intermediate products, packaging materials) to successfully achieve the production plan.

You:

• Hold a degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management (or a related field).
• Bring ideally first relevant experience in supply chain or manufacturing.
• Exhibit strong analytical thinking, with the ability to design and simplify processes.
• Work in a structured, detail-oriented, and independent manner.
• Are skilled in data collection, analysis, and evaluation.
• Possess excellent numerical and analytical abilities; proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, and familiarity with ERP systems (especially Business Central) is a plus.
• Are fluent in both German and English.
