This position is hybrid based, Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9a-5p out of our Waltham, MA office. We are unable to offer sponsorship for work authorization for this role.

As Associate Manager of Inside Sales, you’ll be responsible for the oversight and leadership of a defined group of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) who will support a specific segment of our industry, identifying and engaging contacts in target accounts with the goal of setting qualified meetings for the sales organization.

You will create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture. This role is responsible for their team’s monthly/quarterly quota attainment and its meeting of daily KPI requirements. You will be tasked with aligning to the BEP Inside Sales strategy at large and delivering consistent results that meet or exceed sales quotas.

Your Impact:

  • Sales Goals Attainment: Manage the daily performance, activity, and operations of a team of SDRs. Achieve quarterly and annual growth targets and track team and individual performance against targets. Hold SDRs accountable to daily KPI requirements and quota attainment. Develop, run and monitor team SPIFF activities to drive sales conversion. Foster a customer-centric culture and ensure a sales process that establishes customer sustainability and longevity.
  • Coaching and Mentorship: Develop a high performing, results driven sales team via recruitment, training, coaching & motivating leadership. Provide strong dynamic leadership that mentors, develops and guides team members to efficiently leverage the value of every call for maximum conversion rates and outcomes. Coach direct reports in sales strategy, pipeline management, and opportunity management.
  • Inside Sales Growth Strategy: Implement innovative sales strategies and actively participate in the management of our customer acquisition strategy. Manage accurate forecast of sales results and own responsibility for team’s sales activities in systems (ex: Salesforce). Leverage conversational AI sales coaching software (Gong) daily to level up team skill sets and score sales calls to provide actionable feedback to sales reps. Update leadership to any trends, positive or negative within their designated team.
  • Team leadership: Conduct weekly sales strategy sessions with team to create a dynamic peer-to-peer learning environment. Motivate and encourage sales team to ensure quotas are met. Acknowledge team KPI achievements/milestones with team daily. Thought leader on best practices for departmental growth. Conduct weekly sales meetings to review the past week’s success and upcoming initiatives. Monitor team performance and reports KPIs to sales leadership weekly. Ability to positively reinforce any changes or messaging from leadership. Interdepartmental liaison among supporting business units.
  • Training and Development: Provide skill-based training, facilitate role playing learning techniques, and empower career development. Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. Conduct at least weekly 1:1s to provide actionable feedback.

What you Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related discipline or relevant work experience
  • Team Lead experience, or 3+ years as an overachieving individual contributor in a high-volume, quota bearing outbound sales in selling in B2B market while exceeding revenue targets
  • History of consistently meeting/exceeding individual monthly sales quotas in a high-volume outbound Inside Sales role
  • Team player that can work autonomously without day-to-day direction
  • Deep understanding of our Inside Sales process
  • Proficient with Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Suite & Gong
  • Impeccable time management & organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional understanding of all BEPL systems & services
  • Deep understanding of food service supply chain: distribution and manufacturing
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to explain complex topics in simple terms
  • Punctual
  • YoY track record of successful pipeline management and results
  • Highly driven individual with an execution focus and a strong sense of urgency with an entrepreneurial mindset
  • High ability to lead a team
  • Strong coaching and leadership skills and comfort managing changes with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Engaging motivator with the ability to create and maintain a healthy sales culture
  • Experienced sales representative with a knack for identifying prospective clients through various channels
  • Experience in a high volume/fast-paced industry is preferred
  • Previous experience executing multi-brand sales strategies is highly desirable
  • Experience with the foodservice industry is an asset
