Summary of Responsibility:

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to join our expanding team! In this role, you will partner with our operations teams and provide support for the core HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, compensation, performance management and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication and skills, solid attention to detail, have an analytical approach, as well as the ability to handle critical and confidential matters with the utmost integrity and discretion.

What You Will Contribute:

  • Handling the full cycle recruitment process, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Support employee relations issues of intermediate complexity.
  • Assists department leadership with the management and tracking of all employee’s disciplinary action; coaches, counsels, and guides managers before driving employee disciplinary actions.
  • Assists with the company performance evaluation program; provides ongoing coaching and training to managers on evaluations and goal development.
  • Maintain records of personnel-related data and ensure all employment requirements are met.
  • Handles internal inquiries and complaints from employees across various levels of the organization.
  • Assists in planning and execution of HR initiatives and projects.
  • Coordinates, supports, and explains company policies and philosophies; ensures consistent application of employee handbook and company policies. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Promote a positive and open work environment where employees feel comfortable speaking up about issues.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant HR experience, related to Recruiting and Employee Relations.
  • Prior experience handling workplace investigations & conflict resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, cultural awareness, and ability to establish relationships within all levels of the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, reporting, and analytical skills.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Resourceful, problem-solving proficiency and through knowledge of HR procedures and policies
  • SHRM, PHR or SPHR Certification or equivalent training and experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of Federal &State employment laws, regulations & standard processes including, ADA/ADEA/FMLA/FLSA/Title VII/EPA/Investigations and Harassment, OFCCP, AAP/EEO-1
  • Prior experience with HRIS systems. (KRONOS/UKG preferred but not required)
  • Exceptional customer service focus.
  • Ability to coach and counsel employees across all levels of the organization and the ability to establish positive relationships.

Travel: This position requires the ability to travel as needed. (roughly 15% travel on an annual basis)

Compensation: $68,000 - $80,000, plus bonus.
