Director Battery Module Engineering

The Director of Battery Module Engineering promotes solid execution excellence of battery modules, battery hardware and analytics. The person in this role will foster an exciting culture of accountability, innovation mixed with a heavy dose of fun. This position will be responsible for leading our extended battery team including electrochemistry, analytics integration, sensing hardware, busing, switches and module development. The leader will foster an environment of collaboration. The person in this role will actively foster individual development, training and growth – in a way that makes very complicated concepts applicable to them and easier to understand. The person in this role will actively reach out to other teams they interface with. They will ensure that interfaces of batteries and associated hardware/software are well understood and documented. They will not do the work. They will make sure the process is running seamlessly and the final engineering will be successful. They will eliminate confusion and proactively clarify roles and responsibilities to ensure team alignment and success.
