What you'll be doing?

• ➡️ Conduct thorough testing of new features during each sprint to ensure they meet required specifications and function correctly, focusing on both Android and iOS platforms.
• ➡️ Perform regression testing at the end of each sprint to verify that existing features are not adversely affected by new changes, using tools like TestPad for tracking.
• ➡️ Investigate, categorize, and surface bugs reported on different platforms to the engineering team for resolution, ensuring timely and accurate bug triage.
• ➡️ Write detailed test plans for new features, outlining the testing approach and criteria for success, and ensuring documentation is clear and easily understood by team members.
• ➡️ Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential issues not covered by formal test plans, providing valuable insights to improve product quality.
• ➡️ Stay updated on QA best practices and tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness, exploring new ways to optimize manual and automated testing processes.

About You

• 👨‍💻 Fluent in English (C1 level), with 2-3 years of experience in QA, focusing on manual testing of mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms.
• 👨‍💻 Strong understanding of QA methodologies and processes, with experience in writing test plans and conducting regression testing using TestPad or similar.
• 👨‍💻 Skilled in bug triage and reporting, with the ability to effectively investigate, categorize, and escalate issues.
• 👨‍💻 Proficient in exploratory testing to identify potential issues, providing valuable insights to enhance product quality.
• 👨‍💻 Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and self-organize tasks in a dynamic startup environment.
• 👨‍💻 Experience with Appium and BrowserStack is a plus, along with ISTQB certification, showcasing a commitment to continuous learning. Preferably has experience as the first QA in a project.
