As a Field Service Engineer*, you’ll play a crucial role in our mission. Your responsibilities will include:
- Installation and Maintenance:
- Install, commission, and maintain sensor-based sorters within TOMRA’s Recycling install base.
- Optimize system performance through regular testing and adjustments.
- Exceptional Customer Experiences:
- Communicate effectively with our diverse customer base using various mediums.
- Provide top-class support, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Value Creation:
- Identify opportunities to enhance our customers’ businesses.
- Introduce complementary TOMRA products, solutions, and services.
- Feedback Loop:
- Act as a bridge between our customers and headquarters.
- Continuously seek ways to delight our customers by sharing valuable market insights.
Requirements
- Vocational Education and Training (VET):
- Background in electricity, electronics, computer science, or related fields.
- Work Experience:
- 2-3 years in an industrial environment.
- Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting.
- Skills and Traits:
- Self-motivated and proven capacity to fully complete tasks
- Willing to travel for at least 80 % of the time, based on a flexible schedule.
- Advanced IT and network skills.
- Logical thinker with an affinity for computer programs.
- Excellent communication skills, especially when interacting with customers.
- Socially outgoing and able to handle challenging situations.
- Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in verbal and written English
- Good language skills in Flemish or Dutch
