- Design and Engineering:
- Preparation and review of documentation (reports, studies, drawings, presentations, acceptance forms, cost estimates) as part of the project design.
- Responsible for the onsite inspection/survey process prior to Systems Implementation phase.
- Procurement and Logistics Support:
- Preparation of technical specifications, bill of quantities and related documentation, as well as assessment of technical offers and specifications from suppliers and/or subcontractors, to support procurement process.
- Follow up with suppliers with regards to technical coordination if & when appropriate.
- Preparation of Subcontracting documentation (Scope, Deliverables & Schedule).
- Participation in the coordination and support of Site Works related logistics processes.
- System Installation, Integration, Testing and Commissioning Manager:
- Responsible for the onsite System installation and integration coordination and supervision.
- Responsible for the onsite System Testing and Commissioning coordination and supervision.
- Produce and/or follow quality assurance/quality control, and health and safety requirements.
- Business Development Support:
- Provides Bills of Quantity (BoQs), calculations and/or studies necessary for the cost calculations of tenders to the Tender Manager.
- Project Management Support:
- Assist the Project Manager on the resourcing and day-to-day project and contract management in a variety of Intelligent Transport Project projects.
- Travel to project sites or other Arcadis office as required - in this case, travel to Pyrgos at least once a week
Requirements
Qualifications:
- University Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electromechanical or Civil) with at least 3 years of experience.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with experience developing solutions to complex Intelligent Transport Systems assignments.
- Proven technical writing and strong verbal communication skills in Greek and English.
- Ability to be flexible and collaborate, while maintaining quality work within a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in field deployments.
- Good communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer and software applications (Ms Windows β Office β Teams β Share Point, Adobe, Autocad 2D).
- Registered as a Professional Engineer.
- Passenger car driverβs license.
Experience on the following will be considered as an additional asset:
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of ITS and relative infrastructure.
- Experience with electrical, electronics and telecommunications systems related to ITS.
