About the Role

As the Product Manager for Payments & Store, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of a marketplace that connects our users with the proprietary and third party data integrations that drive our research suite of products. You will spearhead the creation of essential payments and subscription management functionalities, empowering our platform to scale and deliver personalized data driven insights to our users.

You will report directly to the VP of Product and will interact with various departments on a daily basis including operations, engineering, QA, design teams, and internal stakeholders.

What you Need to Succeed:

• Strong background in product management, preferably in the fintech industry, with a focus on payments, pricing models, subscription management systems, and monetization strategies.

• Experience working with platforms such as Chargebee, Recurly, Paddle, and/or Zuora.

• Demonstrated experience in developing and launching successful marketplace solutions, with a keen understanding of user needs and market trends.

• Strong understanding of PLG and SLG principles with experience blending the two seamlessly for both external and internal users.

• Proficient in ERP system integration workflows, with an emphasis on SAP experience.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and sales, to ensure cohesive and successful product development.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• A customer-centric mindset with a proven track record of delivering products that meet or exceed customer expectations.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, as well as drive projects to successful completion.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.

The ability to communicate effectively in English both in writing and verbally is a must. Knowledge of Spanish is not a business requirement.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for payments and store functionalities within our marketplace, focusing on maximizing monetization opportunities while delivering value to users.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize monetization features, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for revenue generation and monetization innovation in our product offering.

• Prioritize monetization strategies and features based on customer feedback, usage data, and market trends, balancing short-term revenue goals with long-term sustainability.

• Drive the development of monetization-focused features, pricing models, and subscription plans, ensuring that they align with user expectations and market demand.

• Work closely with the engineering team to oversee the implementation of monetization features, providing guidance on technical feasibility and optimizing for revenue generation.

• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of monetization efforts, and use data insights to iterate and improve revenue performance over time.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on monetization best practices, staying abreast of industry developments and proactively identifying opportunities to optimize revenue streams.

• Act as a champion for our users, advocating for their needs while finding innovative ways to monetize our products and services without compromising user experience.

• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and sales enablement materials that communicate our value proposition to customers and prospects.
