Main Responsibilities:

• Address the auditory applications of earphone, hearing aids, and so forth
• Design and develop AI-based auditory technical prototype (especially Noise Suppression)
• Optimize the prototype and validate the solutions, aiming at different products and scenes
• Provide completive algorithm solutions

Qualifications and Detailed Requirements:

• MSc or PhD degree with background in Signal Processing or related fields
• Highly experienced in acoustic processing, signal processing, electronic information engineering, computer science, artificial intelligence, mathematical statistics or other relevant fields
• Familiar with deep learning platform such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, and Caffe
• Experience in noise suppression, event detection, echo cancellation, speech enhancement, or ASR is appreciated
• Proficiency in C and C++ is a plus

Other Relevant Skills:

• Fluent in English, Fluency in Finnish or Mandarin would be an asset but not compulsory
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Energetic and a team player
• Preference goes to candidates who are currently engaging / have previous experience in technology cooperation projects / joint cultivation projects

Type of contract:

This is a full-time consultant position at our R&D office in Tampere, Finland. The consultant shall be employed by Huawei's supplier.
