Main Responsibilities:

• Designing, executing, and reporting audio laboratory measurements for consumer electronics
• Coordinating, running, and participating in subjective listening tests
• Developing new measurement metrics and systems for novel audio technologies
• Running software updates for prototypes and analyzing their performance impact

Qualifications and Detailed Requirements:

• MSc or PhD degree in Electronics, Measurement Technology, Signal Processing, or related fields
• Minimum 3-year experience with audio measurement technology
• Good understanding of audio measurement methods, technologies and related tools such as Audio Precision and Head Acoustics Acqua
• Ability to develop automations for long running measurement sequences

Other Relevant Skills:

• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal. Fluency in Finnish or Mandarin is an advantage
• Interest towards audio technologies and consumer electronics
• Excellent collaboration skills and team work

Type of contract:

This is a full-time consultant position at our R&D office in Tampere, Finland. The consultant shall be employed by Huawei's supplier.
