The Position

Administrative and Business Support (Internship, Part-time possible, Fixed-term 1 year)

As part of Roche Information Solution (RIS), Global Customer Support (GCS) is the global organization responsible for technical services in the Roche Diagnostics Division. GCS, with approximately 600 employees, has sites in Rotkreuz, Mannheim, Penzberg, Meylan, Tucson, Pleasanton, Sant Cugat, Panama, Bogota, Sao Paulo, Indianapolis, and Santa Clara, building a worldwide network of support and training centers, which educate and provide assistance to local and regional service staff in the Roche Diagnostics affiliates and its external distributors.

Role Purpose

The successful candidate for this position will provide analytical and specialized administrative support to relieve and assist GCS Migration Execution leaders and teams.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Training and onboarding administration:

  • supports trainers and mentors with administrative-related tasks
  • supports training participants with administrative-related tasks
  • ensures high quality and completeness of data collected like feedback, progress, and effort during onboarding

Business Support:

  • is responsible for organizing travel, workshops, seminars and events
  • is responsible for the quality and completeness of data collected like time management, feedback, and progress effort during project execution
  • provides content for internal sites and communities
  • assists in projects and supports in general administrative tasks

Other duties: as assigned by management might include the following:

  • handle special projects and execute data analysis tasks
  • analyses problems, determines approaches, compiles and analyzes data and prepares reports and recommendations
  • coordinates activities between teams and outside parties.

What else do you have in your toolbox

  • Strong communicator in English at full professional proficiency. French is a plus.

  • Studies background from a university and recent graduate -no more than 3 years- in the fields of Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, and similar.

  • Excellent organizational & administration skills with close attention to detail and the ability to prioritize

  • Experience in event and travel management

  • Has a high service focus; can work independently

  • You are a team player and willing to work for several persons in an international environment and across cultures

  • You are a quick learner, and you show proactivity, flexibility and initiative

  • Very good knowledge of Google applications

  • Permanently optimizes processes to increase quality and efficiency standards.
