National Sales Manager

RPO Recruitment's client, a leading FMCG company in Johannesburg, is currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Sales Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the sales operations across South Africa, with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth. As a National Sales Manager, you will play a key role in developing and implementing sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with key customers, and leading a team of sales representatives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
• Manage and lead a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and identify new business opportunities.
• Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports and updates to senior management.
• Stay up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and sales guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG industry.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
• Proven track record of successfully managing sales teams and achieving sales targets.
• Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of the South African market and FMCG industry.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel within South Africa as required.
