Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain databases in Azure environment
- Data ingestion, transformation and modeling for enterprise grade data platforms
- Perform data migration processes to or from Azure environment
- Data modeling for reporting
Required Qualifications:

Intermediate level of SQL and Python or PySpark development
-
3+ years in data engineering with Azure platform

Understanding of SQL optimization best practices
-
Understanding of data quality principles and best practices
-
Proven understanding of Azure cloud principles
-
Experience in development and administration of ETL processes in Azure cloud environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics
- Azure Data Engineering Associate certification
- Understanding of modern data architecture principles (e.g. delta lake, data mesh)
- Experience with master data management scope of work
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure operations and optimization
