Are you an experienced Quality & Compliance leader looking to make a lasting impact? As a member of EAG’s leadership team, you will have a pivotal role in creating a collaborative partnership with operations to drive excellence in quality and compliance, supporting customer demand while aligning with corporate objectives. This is an opportunity for you to utilize effective organization and development leadership to deploy assets to achieve desired outcomes for engagement, accountability, productivity, continuous improvement, growth, and profitability.

Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for the development and implementation of the vision and strategy that adheres to relevant global regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • As a key leader within the organization, you will drive quality initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Create and build confidence by establishing the quality assurance functions as an informed, capable, knowledgeable, and accessible resource to staff, management, and stakeholders, positioning the company as a preferred source for quality expertise.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Operations, HR, Finance, etc. to support the overall business objectives of EAG Laboratories.

Candidates located or willing to relocate to our labs in St. Louis - MO, Raleigh - NC, East Windsor - NJ or Syracuse - NY are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

  • Relevant degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in materials science, chemistry or relevant scientific discipline is ideal.
  • 15+ years of operational management experience with P&L accountability.
  • Experience in laboratory operations in materials science or scientific testing services is a plus.
  • Knowledge of export control requirements (EAR, ITAR) and industry standards (FDA GMP and GLP, DLA, ISO9001, ISO17025, ISO27001, NIST 800-171, NAD-CAP) is a plus.
  • Strong people management skills with a focus on coaching and mentoring the next generation of leaders.
  • Excellent collaborative work style, and commitment to get the job done.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Ability to continuously operate a personal computer or lab equipment for extended periods of time (4 or more hours).
  • Require close distance visual acuity with or without correction (Glasses, Contacts, etc.)
  • Ability to operate a keyboard and other lab equipment, use a telephone, access file cabinets and other items stored at various levels, including overhead
  • Ability to communicate clearly and understandably ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting.
  • Learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, make timely decisions in the context of a workflow, ability to communicate with visitors, ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota.
