Responsibilities:

• You are part of the growing team “Advanced Analytics” of machine learning experts and responsible for building software for our services.
• You design, implement and operate complex services, backend and frontend, that help our users to get the most out of our machine learning models.
• You are intrinsically motivated to continuously improve implementations in your field.
• Your approach to work is characterized by open communication and a convincing presentation of your implementation.
• You keep up-to-date with latest technologies and actively support the team in developing their solutions to complex engineering problems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• You have several years of professional experience as software engineer preferably in the industrial environment
• Strong communication skills in English (German is a plus)

Skills Needed for Success in this role:

• You have hands-on experience on frontend technologies (e.g., JavaScript, Angular/React) and creating APIs/backend services
• You are proficient in writing clean code and test-driven development
• Moreover, you apply best practices for software development and state-of-the-art software architecture (e.g., microservices)
• You are a team player and dedicate your creativity and motivation to the team’s vision
• You work independently with a focus on high quality and innovation and are willing to familiarize yourselves with new topics
• You are familiar with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform) and know state-of-the-art cloud technologies (Azure platform is a plus)
