Role Overview

The Support Analyst role is responsible for the optimal operation of business systems.

Responsibilities:

The Support Analyst is responsible for (but not limited to):

• Supporting and maintaining business solutions and other projects to best practice. Evaluating the company’s business needs with input to strategic planning of business systems and directions.
• Being accountable for defined assignments and projects.
• Liaising with customers and support corporate software solutions or products.
• Recognising and promptly advising management of potential problems and for potential follow-on business opportunities

Requirements

Knowledge

· Specialist level competence / knowledge in at least one technology or expertise area, with the ability to contribute to several areas outside of specialty.

· Understanding of business / organisation / marketing context of the business solutions.

· Knowledge of finance management practices, with a clear understanding of the relationship between costs, utilisation, and project revenue.

· Strong business acumen.

Experience

· 3+ years’ work experience in information technology, IT systems, systems design, integration, or consulting.

Skills

· Ability to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.

· Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

· Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.

· Ability to frequently interact and network with a variety of stakeholders and team members within own area of expertise.
