The Role:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Active Directory and Security Administrator (IAM Administrator) to join our team reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager. You will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing the organization's Active Directory (AD) infrastructure. The role involves implementing security measures, managing user access, and ensuring compliance with security policies. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting is essential for automating tasks and enhancing operational efficiency. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IAM related infrastructure systems including Active Directory, Cyberark and Silverfort.

In addition to project related work there is also a focus on the administration, maintenance, and support of companywide infrastructure, including but not limited to Server (Physical, Virtual and Cloud based environments and infrastructure related applications).

Main functions:

  • Active Directory Management:

Maintain and support the Active Directory environment, including domain controllers, DNS, and Group Policy. Perform AD-related tasks such as creating, deleting, and managing user accounts, organizational units (OUs), and security groups. Ensure AD replication and health, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary maintenance.

  • Security Administration:

Implement and manage AD security best practices, including account policies, permissions, and access controls. Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and documentation. Conduct regular security audits and compliance checks.

  • PowerShell Scripting:

Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of AD management tasks. Create scripts for bulk user management, reporting, and system maintenance. Optimize existing scripts and troubleshoot any issues.

  • Collaboration and Support:

Work closely with IT teams to support other infrastructure and security-related projects. Provide technical support and training to IT staff and end-users regarding AD and security policies. Assist in the design and implementation of AD-integrated applications and services.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure and processes.
  • Provide expertise in applying architectural governance for business and technical activities.
  • Create and maintain full documentation for relevant systems that are being deployed as part of projects.
  • Actively improve operations, policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • IT Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing and supporting enterprise-level Active Directory environments
  • Proven experience with AD security best practices and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows Server operating systems
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
  • Experience with cloud-based AD services such as Azure AD/Entra ID. Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) solutions
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
  • Knowledge & support experience with Cyberark and Silverfort as an advantage
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Be a self-starter, results and detail-oriented
  • Be able to work independently or with minimum guidance
  • Be proactive, creative with high energy
  • Have the ability to work under pressure to meet aggressive deadlines
  • Have strong communication and people skills, and enjoy working with other teams
  • Strong technical skills are required to understand the infrastructure environment and meet the firms needs
  • Ability to work closely with team members and contribute to team and department projects
  • Have a relevant IT qualification
