About the job

As a Product Designer, you will be a key part of the product team and focus on giving our customers the best experience. You will work closely with multiple product managers and our engineers to identify and solve user problems as well as find new opportunities how to solve them.

This role requires a strong approach to problem definition and solution design, along with user experience and visual design skills to lead our products at a fast-moving pace, whilst maintaining a high bar of product quality.

You are part of the full development process. From research, looking at data points, defining the problem, coming up with possible solutions, user testing, and launching the final product.

We work in a hybrid model, with 4 days a week in office culture.

As a Product Designer, you will play a key role in the Product & Design team. You will have ownership of the end-to-end design process from research, wireframing, prototyping, and validation, resulting in high-fidelity design. With new and innovative ideas, you will help take the company’s Product Design to the next level.

You will be influencing light accounting, banking, and tax declaration products for freelancers in the Netherlands.

Your day-to-day work will involve

• Own the full end-to-end design process from research, wireframing, prototyping, and validation, resulting in high-fidelity designs.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to identify and design features/product enhancements that align with business objectives and user needs.
• You will contribute to multiple products in our organization which are focused on embedded finance.
• Conduct user research to gather insights into user behaviors, preferences, and pain points, and use these insights to improve the product.
• Create design specifications that effectively communicate design requirements to developers and other stakeholders.
• You actively ask for and give feedback. We foster a culture of active feedback as we know it will improve our work and achieve our shared goals.

Throughout the trajectory, you will work with peers and leaders across functional teams, and interact with product managers and developers, to just name the most relevant.

Requirements

To succeed in this role you

• Have 2+ years of experience as a Product Designer.
• Have an aptitude for problem-solving, collaboration, and communication. You understand that storytelling and involving stakeholders early and often is key.
• Bring knowledge of common design tools.
• Have experience in design thinking and user-centered design principles. You understand that a good-looking design is not always a great design.
• Have strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Can thrive in a dynamic and high-velocity work environment, where changes happen often.
• Have a creative mindset to find opportunities for differentiation and competitive advantage.
• You have a proactive approach, where you take initiative to drive progress. Furthermore, you advocate for innovative ideas and challenge existing decisions.
• Have an independent workstyle with collaborative team spirit.
• Are eager to learn and develop in a fun work environment.
• Can work from our Amsterdam office.
