AI Data Developer (Sheepblue) Protime is a successful international provider of Workforce Management solutions. With our software and expertise, we help companies manage their employees' time more efficiently. Protime is growing. In fact, Protime is growing rapidly. To further expand our portfolio, we recently acquired the Austrian start-up Sheepblue. Sheepblue is an AI-based software for workforce planning, specializing in shift-based industries that require precise planning capabilities, such as manufacturing or logistics.
To support this acquisition, we are looking for an experienced AI Data Developer who is passionate about optimizing AI planning algorithms and wants to contribute to improving our Sheepblue application and its integration into the Protime Suite.
Responsibilities:
- Support complex support cases and unexplained results from the AI planning algorithm.
- Thoroughly understand the AI planning algorithm, particularly Monte Carlo Tree Search.
- Improve the algorithm by applying additional approaches, such as local search after Monte Carlo Tree Search.
- Research and introduce new algorithms for improved planning. Apply Heuristic Optimization Techniques.
- Expand the AI module so that it can also be used by Strobbo.
What we are looking for:
- At least 5 years of experience in software development.
- Experience with AI-driven systems and planning technologies.
- Strong programming skills, preferably in Kotlin/Java (backend) and/or Angular (frontend).
- Experience with .NET Core and/or React is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Initiative and the ability to solve problems independently.
- Passion for innovation and striving for continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of production planning flows is a plus.
