Bingel is Malmberg's digital platform. All digital learning resources for our methods can be found in Bingel. Bingel contains unique advanced technology for adaptive digital education and useful digital tools for primary education teachers. This gives the children the best tailor-made digital education. Bingel offers useful tools such as a digital manual, digital whiteboard tool, clear dashboard and an extensive help kit. This allows to accurately monitor and support each child.

Role responsibilities

Help build the most innovative and engaging educational applications.
As a Senior Java Developer, you will be part of one of our fantastic Scrum teams. You'll develop new functionalities, solve problems and make analysis of more complex issues. By making a proof of concept, you help the team make technical choices when necessary. You'll contribute to support tickets and do minor operations work. There's also a rotating role where someone is responsible for monitoring the application and checking log. You do not lose sight of quality and motivate your team members to do the same.

Must-have requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience with Java (11 or higher)
  • Experience working with Amazon Web Services (EC2, CloudFormation, S3, CloudFront, Elasticache, Lambdas);
  • Experience with relational (mySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB);
  • Unit testing experience (jUnit/Mockito) and good practices when it comes to code quality;
  • At least basic knowledge/experience with Kubernetes and containerization
  • Experience working in scrum/agile methodology;
  • High level of English, experience working in an international environment.

Nice-to-have requirements

  • Microservices architecture experience
  • Spring
  • Reactive programming
