About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Research Assistant to join our team at Colliers Belgium as part of an Internship track. While the primary focus will be on the Industrial & Logistics (I&L) sector, the role will also involve supporting other research activities across various sectors. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our market data.
Concretely, your role will involve the following responsibilities:
- Collect, verify, and input data related to the I&L sector and other real estate sectors into our databases.
- Assist in the preparation of market research reports, presentations, and analysis.
- Monitor market trends and compile relevant data across different sectors.
- Support the research team with various administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Requirements
- Education: Engaged in A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Fluent in French, both written and spoken. English and/or Dutch is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including key functions and pivot tables), Power Point, Word.
- Experience with Power BI, CRM software is desirable.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in data entry or research assistance is a plus.
- Interest in the real estate market, particularly the I&L sector.
- Enthusiasm for business process optimization and continuous improvement.
