Pricing Insights Analyst

We are looking for an innovative analyst to join our team to provide reporting, analysis & insights on pricing performance, discount strategies, business's competitiveness and profitability; as well as supporting wider transformation projects to improve and streamline the selling and back office operational practices to enable accelerated future growth.

The day-to-day role will often involve close collaboration with teams across Product & Solutions, Sales, Billing, Finance, IT & Business Operations, Contracting and Commercial and presenting analytical findings with recommendations to Pricing Managers

You are probably wondering what exactly you’ll be doing:

• Translating and communicating complex pricing data and analysis into a format that can be used by Pricing Managers to determine actionable profit-enhancing strategies to be used on large complex deals and the creation/maintenance of price books;
• Working with key stakeholders to build client specific proposals including presenting options to sales, client management and product leaders;
• Providing analytical support in the creation of client proposals;
• Tracking customer performance (volumes, waterfalls, billing) as required on an ad hoc basis to aid the development of effective pricing strategies for large complex clients.

Requirements

We look for you to bring:

• Proven experience in a similar role analysing and presenting complex pricing to relevant stakeholders at management level
• Experience of pricing data and software products within a B2B environment desirable
• Good Excel skills
• Good Tableau skills
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and desire to continuously drive data quality improvements
• Demonstrable commitment to deliver results in a project-based environment
• Strong business acumen; understands key business, financial, commercial drivers
• Proven experience to work cross functionally with teams outside Pricing
• Ability to work quickly and accurately often to tight deadlines set by customers
