Lead Test Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer who would be responsible for creating and executing test plans before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and work in an Agile environment in a multi-disciplined team to develop and create significant coverage of automation testing of software applications within an existing framework. This position requires both automation and manual testing (where features are not yet covered by automation).

Responsibilities:

• Build out test suites and test cases for functional as well as non-functional tests along with documentation.
• Provide manual release support where features are not yet covered by automation.
• Debug Infrastructure-as-Code**.**
• Work cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and all other stakeholders of the team to understand and make recommendations on the dev approaches to meet their needs.
• Troubleshooting across multiple apps and services in a distributed cloud environment.
• Track any manual work being done within your org (and then automate it).
• Debug production bugs and errors and update the respective regressions to test the edge case.
• Contribute to bringing industry best practices and up-leveling the Quality Engineering Organization at large.
• Continuously improve and innovate existing tools, processes, and frameworks to support a rapidly evolving technology landscape.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required

• 4+ years of relevant experience as Test Engineer

• Experience with Playwright, Cypress and/or Selenium

• Strong experience working with Java/Javascript automation frameworks for web and mobile applications

• Strong ability to read and write in a JavaScript and Typescript code base

• Worked within agile and CI/CD environments

• Must have automation testing experience
