Senior QA Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our IPMS teams in Belgrade. This is an amazing opportunity to work on API automation. This role will be reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager. We have a great skill set in API automation and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in testing RESTFUL solutions, integration and performance testing. This is also a great opportunity to gain experience with the Playwright framework, but previous experience with it is not essential for this role.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• 2+ years of experience in a QA role
• At least 2 years of experience in automation testing
• At least 2 years of experience with any API automation framework

It would be great if you also had…

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science or related degree
• Experience writing automated tests using Java, Javascript or Python
• Capability to work independently and find paths through unknown
• Experience in designing automated test scripts to validate expected behavior for API-based services using test automation frameworks.
• Good working experience with GIT and CI tools
• Experience with troubleshooting software issues
• We operate a hybrid cloud environment, so it is good to have some experience testing solutions in cloud environments, in either AWS or Azure

What will you be doing in this role?

• Testing of code and features delivered by the development team
• Setting up and maintaining the automation framework
• Creation of automated tests to aid in testing
• Perform maintenance, upgrading, and updating existing tests
• Working with the QA team to identify the best way to test upcoming features

About the Team
The scrum team consists of 4 QA Engineers, 2 Developers, 1 Product Owner and Business Analyst. Wider Connect QA team consists of several Developers, 6+ QA Engineers, 3 Product Owners, 2 Business Analysts and 1 Project Manager.

Hours of Work

This is a permanent full-time position, with core engagement hours within CET time zone.

This is a hybrid position, you will be expected to work from our Belgrade office 3 days every other week.
