We have a challenging opportunity for an ambitious, experienced Quality Assurer Responsible to join IonProjects.

As a QAR at Visma you are working in an Agile environment and in close collaboration with your colleagues. You will manage releases and build a reliable regression test suite, implementing manual and test automation across all layers, including functional tests (UI, API) and non-functional tests (performance and security).

You would be working on the Development team, located in 2 countries: Belgium and Romania.

Our Software Development Team is equipped with the latest technology to ensure reliability and quality of the products and services we offer. ionProjects has an in house ICT team of 15 members who continuously develop and support our product offerings. Currently, there is a need for a Senior Technical Quality Assurer who will support our fast growing company by integrating business features into the company’s products and services.

Our software solutions offer the following services: consulting implementation, custom software, integration, deployment, training and support. ionProjects is a mission driven, but for profit organization, headquartered near Brussels with offices and representatives in 3 locations around the world.

Responsibilities & Job tasks:

• The QAR oversees testing activities and manages releases.
• Oversee test execution
• Collaborate with software testers to ensure quality for complex systems, balancing detail orientation and big-picture perspective
• Bring extensive experience in manual testing of complex systems, setting up proactive test processes, and delving into details
• Develop, manage, and test requirements
• Analyze and approve requirements for consistency across functional areas
• Evaluate the product against specifications, report bugs, and assist with troubleshooting
• Implement modern testing methodologies for improved manual testing
• Be a self-driven, creative problem solver, understanding customer needs and being service-oriented within the team and with stakeholders
• Contribute to a transparent agile work environment where team spirit trumps selfishness
• Utilize common testing tools such as Selenium, SoapUI, J-meter, Postman, and other automation frameworks

• Fluent in English speaking and writing as English is the working language

Employment details:

• Expertise in testing methods and techniques (ISTQB certification preferred)
• Proficiency in using testing tools
• Experience working in agile environments and with distributed teams
• Knowledge of databases (SQL) is a plus
