Position Summary
The Compensation and Benefits Manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and overseeing the company’s compensation and benefits programs. This role involves managing a team of compensation and benefits specialists and ensuring fair and competitive compensation practices. The manager collaborates with HR, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to maintain internal equity and compliance with relevant legislation.
What we expect from you:
- Lead a team of two compensation and benefits specialists and one benefits specialist. Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members.
- Evaluate job positions and determine market rates for each role. Use salary surveys and statistical analysis to establish competitive compensation levels.
- Conduct regular salary benchmarking using sources like Korn Ferry and Mercer. Ensure alignment with market trends and adjust compensation as needed.
- Design and manage sales compensation plans, including incentives and bonuses.
- Coordinate annual salary reviews and performance-based bonuses. Ensure consistency and fairness in compensation adjustments.
- Develop and implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and development plans. Ensure alignment with organizational objectives and individual performance metrics.
- Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to align compensation with workforce needs. Monitor position changes and organizational structure.
- Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Maintain accurate compensation data. Manage reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to compensation and benefits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Proven experience as a Compensation and Benefits Manager or similar role preferably within an international organization.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with compensation surveys and market data.
- Knowledge of relevant labour laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
