Job Description

As a Compliance Data Specialist, you will work closely with our customers to analyze large datasets (often exceeding 1 million rows) to verify records and confirm compliance with TCPA regulations. You will play a crucial role in developing analysis playbooks for a variety of unique and nuanced situations to drive the success of multiple new product offerings! You will report directly to the Compliance & Messaging Operations Manager, and partner closely with our Legal, Sales, and Customer Onboarding teams.

This is a hybrid role based in Phoenix, AZ. Candidates must be within traveling distance to our PHX office.

Primary duties

Customer Collaboration: Partner directly with customers to gather information, review and verify historical data records, and present nuanced results in an easily understandable manner.Data Analysis: Build and utilize SQL queries to merge data from multiple data sources, analyze insights, and provide actionable recommendations.Project Management: Oversee compliance audits from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are completed in a timely manner while maintaining strong customer communication.Investigation: Investigate incidents of account abuse, spam, fraud, and phishing attempts, providing detailed reports and recommendations for mitigation.Playbook Development: Develop and maintain analysis playbooks for a variety of compliance scenarios, ensuring consistency and accuracy in approach.

What We’ll Love About You

Degree or certification in Data Analytics or related field

  • Proficiency in SQLite or other relational databases

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle challenging situations delicately and provide creative, alternative solutions as necessary

  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in an understandable manner, ensuring clarity and understanding across all stakeholders
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide innovative solutions
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Aptitude for taking initiative and proactiveness in identifying and addressing potential issues
  • Escalation Judgment: Know when to escalate issues appropriately to ensure timely resolution
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Innate curiosity and a talent for problem-solving
  • Nice to have: customer facing experience at any level
