The Role

As an idea and innovation catalyst, FCAT (Fidelity Center for Applied Technology) helps Fidelity’s businesses and clients imagine the possibilities and realize the benefits of new ideas and emerging technologies. We identify, explain, and raise awareness about the seismic-level trends that will matter most to Fidelity’s future and the ability to further strengthen our clients’ financial well-being. We’re looking for a motivated, naturally curious, and analytical thinker and creator to join our team. What forces are brewing that will dramatically alter our collective futures? What technologies and societal trends are driving that energy?

• The role will be to identify, assess and share perspective on the China and East Asia ecosystem of disruptive startups, leading academic research centers, and their technologies.
• Collaborate to create and deliver content (engineered products, consultations, insight debriefs, presentations, reports, demonstrations, and showcases) that educates Fidelity on the most important trends and technologies that will affect our future.
• Develop, build, and maintain research tools leveraging the latest technologies that allow the team to capture knowledge and elevate the work’s impact while integrating with existing platforms.
• Support technical systems that track metrics and engagement with the research across the enterprise.

The Expertise We’re Looking For

• The ability to synthesize, simplify, and communicate complex ideas in an impactful way – showing initiative and creativity in the process.
• You must have a 5+ years’ experience as a technology / product strategist /researcher at a startup or an accelerator / FA / VC / multinational company.
• Tech leads with hands-on engineering capabilities are preferred.
• Advanced degree required - Bachelor above.
• Fluent English communication for both written and oral.
