Bilingual Full Stack Developer

Within an agile team, the selected candidate will contribute to the development and maintenance of data collection processes and business process automation. They will also participate in the implementation of a web portal for managing retirement solutions.

This position offers the possibility of working remotely from anywhere in Canada.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze current and future needs: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document the functional and technical requirements of the project.
• Study and understand existing code: Familiarize yourself with the architecture and code of the current solution to ensure effective integration and maintenance.
• Develop according to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC): Actively participate in all phases of the SDLC, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Ensure the proper functioning of the software solution: Perform rigorous testing and validate results to guarantee the quality and performance of the developed applications.

To succeed as a Developer, the candidate must possess the following skills and experiences:

Required Qualifications:

• Education in computer science or software engineering, with at least 5 years of professional experience in software development.
• Concrete experience in:
  • Software development in C#, Microsoft .NET Core, or .NET Framework.
  • Web application development with Angular or a similar JavaScript framework (React, Vue, etc.).
  • Deployment in different environments with subsystems using one of the following tools: Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), or Octopus Deploy.
  • Configuring pipelines with Helm and YAML/YML scripts.
  • REST API development.
  • Development using HTML and CSS.
• Bilingual (French / English).

Assets:

• Knowledge in SQL and NoSQL (MongoDB) database development.
• Knowledge in developing web services, WebAPI, WCF.
• Experience in ASP.NET development.
• Knowledge of unit test development cycles (Cypress, Protractor, or others).
• Experience in an agile development environment.
• Knowledge of enterprise software architecture techniques and industry best practices.
