ROLE PROFILE: This newly created senior manager role will lead the internal communications strategies for large scale change and transformation activities within the organisation. This role is critical in ensuring clear consistent and effective communication across all levels of the company during periods of change. The role will have accountability for the way we deploy and deliver consistent change communications across the company using the quality change comms methodology. A key part of this role will be the governance around contractors supporting change comms on projects, how we get the best talent on work and how we maintain consistency of message when we are here. This individual will be highly collaborative, modern, dynamic and omnichannel in approach, will have a deep understanding of change and what drives people performance, always being data-driven and audience-centric. ROLE SUMMARY: • This role will report into the Director, IC, Campaigns and Activation, and will be accountable for developing and implementing IC strategies for change and transformation projects, aligning plans with overall business objectives and change management strategies • The individual will partner with senior leaders, project teams and other stakeholder to understand business needs and objectives, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying where change comms support is required • This will suit an experienced, IC or change comms professional who is able to juggle multiple projects, line manage at a distance and who is outcome-focused and fresh in thinking. • They’ll be able to work at pace, manage conflicting priorities where needed and work as a great player and contributor in a broader global IC network WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: • Work with senior stakeholders to understand the change comms landscape across LSEG, identifying business needs and partnering with project teams to determine which activity requires specific support and ensuring support is right-size for the work required • Lead and line manage one direct report as well as a team of change comms contractors who are aligned to major projects across the company, providing guidelines and guidance to ensure quality and consistency in deliverables • Developing and implementing change comms strategies for change and transformation projects, aligning messaging to our overall LSEG story, and communications plans to overall business objectives and change strategies • Feed into CAM planning team using our core IC planning tools to manage air traffic control and ensure other IC leaders understand the change comms landscape enabling interdependencies to be clear and communications to be joined up across the company • Using available tools and technologies to make sure communications are audience-focused, well-planned, data-driven, omnichannel and effective • Interpret the impact and success of all change communications, gathering feedback from colleagues and analysing this data to inform continuous improvement • Supporting a high-performance team culture through effective providing guidance and coaching to less experienced team members where needed • Living and role modelling LSEG values of integrity, partnership, excellence and change every day, both in the way we lead and through our communications approaches and materials.
