SEO Media Strategist

About the role

• Develop and implement SEO strategies to meet business objectives for Secret Media Network (Madrid Secreto, Secret NYC…)
• Take a strategic and innovative approach to SEO, focusing into high business impact actions, digging into SEO tools, keyword research, and competitive analysis.
• Dive into technical SEO aspects: website structure, web architecture, WPO, structured data, crawl budget optimization, backlink profiles, log analysis…etc
• Implement innovative strategies to optimize SEO visibility on platforms like Google Discover.
• Execute assigned tasks efficiently and conduct thorough research and testing to achieve optimal results.
• Working closely with technical, product and marketing teams to ensure the effective implementation of SEO strategies and projects.
• Monitor organic performance, competitor benchmark and stay updated with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes to maintain a competitive edge on the Media Industry.

About You

• Proven experience in SEO role (at least 5 years)
• Proactive and independent with strong self-management skills, excellent problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
• Being data-driven and kind of a data-geek: clear understanding of data, analytics and metrics with the ability to make data-driven recommendations of actions
• Possess up-to-date knowledge and maintain current SEO practices
• Proficient with common SEO tools (e.g., Semrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog etc.).
• Strong personal ownership, high level of initiative and work well in a team environment
• Proficient in using Google Spreadsheets
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills

Valuable Requirements:

• Experience on SEO automation
• SQL,Python and JS knowledge
• Experience on CRO and UX
• Strong Technical Skills (Crawling, HTML, CSS, CDN performance, APIs Automatition…)
• Experience with other Search Engines than Google (Naver, Baidu, etc)
