Main responsibilities / functions
As a Sr Software Engineer, you will perform the following activities and
responsibilities:
• Coaching Software Engineers
• Support development team in day-to-day activities.
• Could work directly with clients or client's development
team for guidance and training
• Conduct analysis, design, coding, evaluation, modification,
testing and implementation of scripts and new functionality across the
different areas of Netsuite ERP
• Will be focused on developing customizations within NetSuite in support
of critical business processes.
• Apply best practices in development.
• Generate detailed documentation of the processes, including results
of product tests, data, flowcharts, diagrams, layouts, code comments, etc
Technical Requirements
• Netsuite Development knowledge on all
types of scripts, workflows, reports.
• Javascript expertise
• System architecture, object-oriented
design, web frameworks and patterns
• Software development lifecycle
(SDLC) methodologies.
• Proficiency in error resolution, error
handling and debugging.
• Experience with Integrated
Development Environment (IDEs), source
control systems, unit-testing tools and
defect management tools.
• Experience with Webservices (SOAP and
REST)
• GIT
Desired Skills & Qualifications
• 2+ years of NS experience
• Strong communication skills
• CPA bachelor's degree is preferred
• IT/Business consultant background
• Language skill: English
• Netsuite Certifications
• Functional, implementation and
leadership skills are a plus
