Oracle Program Manager

Job Overview

Enviri Corporation operates a single instance of Oracle eBusiness Suite R12.2.9, this is used as the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system for Corporate and for the Clean Earth and Harsco Environmental Divisions. Harsco Environmental (HE) has an active Program of migrating over 20+ countries to the single instance of Oracle within the next 2 years. With this active Program, coupled with a continuous improvement approach to the system and acquisition/growth we require a dedicated Program Manager. The HE Manager will co-ordinate the Program for HE and will partner with the internal and external teams for project and program execution. The role will be responsible for delivery of the standard solution design, ensuring a single global solution. The role will be responsible to bring Change and drive improvements to the solution in terms of optimization and automation.

Note the Project Team is exceedingly small and requires hands-on support and guidance.

The candidate will have hands-on experience of running similar projects and programs before.

Primary Responsibilities and Activities

• Execution of the Harsco Environmental Oracle Program that is supported as part of the Long-Range Plan.
• Maintain and enhance the strategy for Oracle E-Business Suite that aligns with the organization's single global instance approach.
• Program Management – guide the project team in the delivery of all Oracle E-Business Suite projects, including implementations, migrations, and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business units, and key stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize projects, and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the Oracle E-Business Suite team, ensuring best practices and adherence to industry standards.
• Partner with the Oracle Team to ensure the system is continuously monitored and optimize Oracle E-Business Suite to enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Manage relationships with Oracle and third-party vendors, ensuring effective utilization of support and services.
• Develop and manage budgets for Oracle E-Business Suite projects, ensuring cost-effective solutions and work with the internal and external teams on resource allocation.
• Ensure Oracle E-Business Suite compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. Oversee security measures to protect sensitive data.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure that the Oracle E-Business Suite is aligned with the company’s single global instance strategic approach.
• Provide regular status reports to senior management team

Requirements

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in ERP Program management/implementation
• Strong project management skills with a proven record of accomplishment of successful project delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite modules (ideal).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience with global implementations and understanding of multinational business requirements.
• Experience of managing a Single Global Instance (preferred).

Knowledge and Skills

• Proven knowledge and experience of Oracle e-Business Suite R12
• Proven expertise in managing multiple implementations and migrations
• Proven knowledge and application of a standard project management methodology and experience
• Team management, including the ability to support a tactical resource plan aligned with the overall Program
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; expertise in setting and managing internal customer expectations
• Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
• Delivery focused
