ING Luxembourg is looking for a Change Expert/Project Manager who will lead various projects across the bank (depending on your background, interests, and skill set). You will orchestrate the delivery of complex change initiatives (across Tech and Business teams) to deliver transformational change for the organization. This role will report to the Head of Transformation.

Your role

• Core responsibility - Executing and implementing projects
  You will carry out and coordinate projects across all ING departments, functions and/or domains in a multidisciplinary project team to ensure the end-to-end delivery of complex programs and projects. In the position of Change Expert, you are responsible for the progress of the project, coaching and supporting the team to bring tangible results. You act within all layers of the organization, from operations to senior management, and the ExCo. You are a sparring partner for senior management, and you are jointly responsible for spotting new opportunities and recognizing possible new projects. In executing assignments you connect to the expertise within the global ING network on sourcing, analytics, business controls and risk to maximize the value you can bring.

• You plan and deliver small projects or workstreams using an appropriate project management methodology to give assurance that intended outcomes and deliverables are achieved on time and within budget.

• You manage workstreams or small projects within a transformational change program, ensuring integration with related projects; use structured change management methodologies to build acceptance of change and embed desired culture and behaviors.

• Prioritization and planning skills

• Coordination and project management skills (both Agile and Prince methodologies are used) for running multiple concurrent initiatives

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, numerical insight, ability to think of new solutions (“outside of the box”); rigor in offering fact-based arguments

• Quickly create the right structure in problems, perform analyses and select the right root causes and solutions

• Strong willingness and ambition to drive change initiatives and cultural change; ability to challenge authority and speak up

• Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills for interactions with management and operational staff

• Leadership skills and ability to motivate staff

• High level of pro-activeness and taking initiative

• Strong execution capabilities and delivery of results

• Perseverance and focus on impact

• Can-do attitude; you are able to see ways forward where others don’t

• Have a proven experience in anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders

• 3-10 years+ of program and project management experience

• Experience in usage of a combination of feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into personal strengths and weaknesses
