FICC Markets consists of the units FX, Commodities, Fixed Income & Advisory and provides first class execution, research and development of financial instruments.

About the job

  • One of your main responsibilities will be to cover, develop and deepen client relationships including regular visits with relevant colleagues from other departments and initiate and receive client orders and monitor and execute as instructed, taking into account and operating the manual and electronic order management, trading and credit line systems provided by the bank

  • You pro-actively serve individual core and/or target clients of SEB AB in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in products from the asset classes Fixed Income, FX and/or Commodities according to the currently valid business plan with the support of an experienced colleague

  • It is part of your responsibilities to ensure that credit limits are respected when executing transactions and to comply with rules, guidelines and regulatory requirements relevant to the FICC Markets division

  • You will support Client Executives with product-specific inquiries and support with the implementation and execution of customer requests as well as customer acquisition

  • The regular assessment and evaluation of the client relationship with the help of transaction data is also a part of your work

  • Participation in the preparation and development of business plans, customer presentations and other extraordinary projects and with that prepare activities, results and acquisition reports as per business plan and support the development of product ideas

  • Active cross-selling both within the FICC Markets business unit and at the overall bank level

  • You will work closely with colleagues from FICC Markets Sales & Trading, DCM/Syndicate, Research, Coverage as well as other relevant departments in meeting objectives as outlined in the FICC Markets Business Plan and assist in achieving the goals set for FICC Markets, globally as well as locally

Who are you

  • You have an University degree in Economics or comparable academic qualification with capital market relevance

  • You have up to 4 years of relevant professional experience in sales of financial products to corporate customers or financial institutions or other areas of the capital market

  • You have a good understanding of financial markets and economic interrelationships, a good understanding of products in the asset classes fixed income, FX and/or commodities as well as a basic knowledge in the field of banking regulation, as well as requirements for our clients (MiFiD, EMIR, Solvency, etc.)

  • You do have advanced user knowledge in MS Office applications (especially PowerPoint and Excel)

  • You are characterized by strong personal and analytical skills, good self-organization, and the ability to work independently and achieve the required goal-oriented work results even under time pressure even in a rapidly changing environment

  • Professionalism, service orientation, commitment and flexibility are Characteristics that set you apart

  • Additionally, you bring a strong team player mentality and have very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
