We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer who excels in backend development but is also proficient in writing frontend code. The ideal candidate is a resourceful, independent thinker with a passion for code quality, teamwork, and ownership.

What you need to succeed in this role

• 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on backend technologies.
• Proficiency in Java Spring and Python.
• Experience with frontend technologies including Javascript and React.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
• Expertise in database management with Postgres and Redis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and independently.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Experience in the Customer Support industry is a plus.
• Experience working in startups is a plus.

If you get the job, you will have to:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Java Spring and Python.
• Ensure high code quality through code reviews, testing, and best practices.
• Work closely with CTO and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Optimize application performance and scalability on AWS.
• Implement and manage databases using Postgres and Redis.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technology choices.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
