QA Automation Engineer

About the role

Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring software excellence? As a QA Automation Engineer, you'll tackle exciting technical challenges and play a crucial role in bringing ancestors' stories to life through innovative technology. What you need to succeed in this role:

• Experience with Cypress automation framework.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python is a plus.
• Experience with Playwright is a plus.
• Solid understanding of back-end programming, Rest API and testing methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

If you get the job, you'll have to:

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure the quality of our marketing pipeline solution.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and Playwright for testing service levels and APIs.
• Automate API testing using tools like Bruno (currently used) and Postman (used in the past).
• Perform backend automation testing to ensure robustness and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into automated test cases.
• Identify, document, and track bugs, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor and analyze test results to ensure the effectiveness of automated tests.
• Continuously improve and optimize testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
