About Signal Ocean: Signal Ocean is the technology arm of the Signal Group. About the role: Due to the continuous growth of the Signal Ocean Platform, our engineering team is getting bigger and is ready to welcome a self-driven, inquisitive, fast-learning Senior Front End Engineer with React experience, passionate for creating high-quality solutions. Signal’s Software Engineers work closely with data science, design, product, and business analysis professionals to develop robust solutions to the highly entrepreneurial domain of shipping. Technology Stack: We build cloud solutions using C#, .NET Core, Typescript, React, Service Fabric, Python, MongoDB, MSSQL Server, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana, Influx and more. We also offer the opportunity to work on state-of-the-art architectures and technology stacks, as well as a global, Artificial Intelligence-powered technology product vision. We organize our teams using the concepts of Dual-track Agile (Scrum) methodologies and we would love to onboard people who are going to contribute across product discovery, delivery, optimization, QA, DevOps and Continuous Integration.

Requirements

What you bring to the team:

• Masters or Bachelor university degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of front end development working experience in engineering real-world web applications of medium-to-large scope and complexity; FinTech experience welcome
• Demostrable React, JS/TS, HTML, and CSS experience
• Familiarity with C# and .NET Core is welcome
• Active interest in reading-up on the latest frameworks and libraries
• Knowledge and active interest in Design Patterns and SOLID architecture principles
• Familiarity with cloud computing and how to optimally configure and tune web stack in the cloud
• A keen eye for interaction design and finishing touches; passion for building intuitive web interfaces that present data in compelling ways
• Speed in understanding the business and building a working UI (e.g. prototypes)
• Experience with Agile/SCRUM
• Ability to work effectively with remote teams
• Great attitude towards work and people; amazing ability to get stuff done, a sense of ownership over the product
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (company’s working language)
