Senior FP&A Manager

The Senior FP&A Manager at AMBOSS plays a crucial role in guiding our financial planning and analysis activities, driving strategic decision-making, and providing insights that enhance our company's financial performance. Drawing upon your extensive experience in financial management, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure financial goals are met and long-term business strategies are effectively supported. The primary objectives of this role are to drive financial excellence and contribute to AMBOSS' mission of revolutionizing medical education and supporting healthcare professionals worldwide.

You will:

• Lead the development of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
• Analyze financial performance against forecasts and budgets, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support business decisions.
• Conduct scenario analysis and financial modeling to evaluate potential business opportunities and investments.
• Collaborate with business units to align financial objectives with company goals.
• Act as a financial advisor to market leads and department heads, providing insights and recommendations to drive performance.
• Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate the flow of information and enhance decision-making processes.
• Ensure alignment between financial planning and business operations.

You bring:

• You have 5+ years of experience in finance (Controlling, FP&A, Consulting), with a strong track record of driving financial excellence.
• You know Excel/Google Sheets like the back of your hand (and involuntarily flinch when watching people navigate it with the use of a mouse 😉). Knowledge of BI-tools, coding/SQL capabilities, and experience with reporting/planning software are a plus.
• Highly analytical mindset with the capability to synthesize complex data and present clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create and deliver effective presentations to all levels of the organization.
• Extremely well-organized, with a proven ability to own and drive initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong collaborator with a get-things-done mentality, fostering a cooperative and productive team environment.
• Thrive in fast-paced conditions, demonstrating enthusiasm and determination to drive initiatives toward success.
• Continuously seek to learn more about the product, target audience, and market, showing a strong desire for ongoing personal and professional growth.
