Mid-level Marketer

Yuppiechef is looking for a creative and strategic Mid-level Marketer to bring to life our purpose of helping people create moments of joy at home. The role oversees two main areas, newsletter co-ordination and supplier marketing, and requires finding proactive ways to maximise the efficiency of these functions as well as improving outputs.

The role reports into the Marketing Manager and is based from our offices in Westlake, Cape Town.

What does the job entail?

• Collaborate with buying team to grow supplier investment in mutually beneficial owned-channel campaigns, building supplier relationships and driving profitability

• Conceiving and managing those campaigns,in collaboration with the internal creative team

• Coordinating and managing daily newsletters between the marketing, creative, buying and planning teams, in support of marketing objectives and online income growth

• Creating annual plans for Yuppiechef's key private label, exclusive and direct import brands

• Conduct regular performance analysis of newsletters and campaigns, sharing learnings and insights across teams for future improvements

What are the requirements and attributes?

• 3-6 years’ experience in Omnichannel retail marketing

• Well organised and skilled in project management

• Strong communication, briefing and presentation abilities

• Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration between buying, planning and other internal teams

• Comfortable commercially, using sales insights to justify campaign decisions

• Familiarity with E-Commerce and digital marketing performance metrics

• A qualification in marketing, branding or communications would be beneficial

Environment:

Our team varies between working remotely and being in the office or a combination of both. You will need your own stable, high-speed internet connection for the days you work from home. And you will need to spend a few days in the office, when appropriate, to learn from your teammates and when safe, in-person collaboration is more suitable. Pay and Benefits

We pay competitive, market-related salaries based on skills and experience, and profit share based on the company's performance.
