Impact

As an Associate Engineer working in the Retailer Integration space you will help deliver new features and experiences to our external retailer partners. You will be working with a team of 4-5 other engineers to design, develop, test, deploy and maintain application code using Golang, Redis, Postgres, and Kafka in a microservices architecture.

**What You’ll Need to Be Successful

• You know how to develop backend software applications using object-oriented programming languages.
• You have experience with or are eager to learn GoLang
• You have experience database systems and event-driven messaging systems
• You are passionate about software development, learning different domain knowledge, and solving problems.
• You are a self-directed individual that enjoys freedom in your work.
• Knowledge of testing fundamentals; unit, integration, end to end, etc.

Work Arrangement

Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham, San Francisco, or Minneapolis to be hybrid, which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate, collaborate, and spark team connections. In-office expectations will vary by role and leader. Certain roles may require in-office presence on a full-time basis. Pay range:

Metro Areas of Boston, District of Columbia, Seattle and New York City:

$74,732-$149,463

Metro Areas of Los Angeles and San Francisco:

$115,763.35-$149,463

All other locations:

$62,186-$124,481
