About the job

In this position, you’re an important part of the management team of Seco Tools, and a strategic financial partner to the President of the Division. You’re responsible for all financial and compliance management aspects, and you support strong execution by ensuring depth and accuracy in figures and by building confidence in decision making. You lead our finance community in a global matrix setting, and with your expertise and involvement, you ensure that we follow the overall strategic direction and common ways of working.

As a vital part of your assignment, you assist in M&As and other investments and you drive necessary change initiatives. By understanding the market and performing industry analysis, you inform our management of both political and economic factors which may influence our business plans. Building bridges at all levels throughout SMS and Sandvik is key to being successful in this position, and you provide a confident, inspiring and supportive leadership to our organization.

You’re an active member of the Seco Tools Management Group (SMG) and the SMS Finance management team. The location for this role is flexible within Europe and global travel is included.

Your profile

We’re looking for an experienced leader with a relevant university degree and a proven track record from positions with a strategic responsibility for financial operations. Through your global experience you have gained the capability of managing, leading and motivating a virtual and international organization in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you’re good at mixing a long-term strategic view with short-term actions when needed. We operate worldwide, which calls for an open mind and cultural awareness – you're used to working cross both functions and borders and you need excellent communication skills in English.
