The appointee is expected to provide administrative and operations support in the Department and manage & mentor student CCA groups. The appointee will be required to work with other Sections in the Department and with other Schools/Departments in SP too.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide support in the Asset Management Systems including tracking & tagging of assets, updating of asset custodians of transfer cases, retirement & disposal of assets and annual asset verification exercise

• Provide support for Student Clubs’ financial processes

• Checking and tracking of financial claims (cheque requests, reimbursement and advancements) for 90+ Non-Cons Clubs

• Routing claims for proper approvals and liaise with Student Finance Team on all club claims or advancement settlements

• Consolidating of Club Treasurers bank details for finance processing

• Oversee the management of SP Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) Clubs

• Planning and implementing programmes to develop CCA Clubs (e.g. club development rubrics)

• Guiding and developing students which includes managing of administrative matters for the clubs

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent preferably with minimum 2 - 4 years working experience in the area of administration and preferably with financial experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized, detailed-oriented, versatile and good interpersonal skills
  • Possess initiative with ability to multi-task and able to work independently with a proactive & positive attitude and minimal supervision

Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
