Natixis is a France-based, multinational financial services organization, which offers a diversified array of financing and capital markets solutions for institutional clients and counterparties. In the Americas, Natixis has a Corporate Investment Banking branch and subsidiaries in New York, representative offices in LA and Houston, a branch in Montreal, Canada and several representative offices in Latin America as well as an Asset Management business through Natixis Investment Managers’ distribution and service groups including Natixis Distribution, LLC (a limited purpose US broker-dealer and the distributor of various US registered investment companies for which advisory services are provided by affiliated firms of Natixis Investment Managers). All of the above forms the BPCE / Natixis Combined U.S Operations (CUSO).

As part of the Combined US Operations organization, the CUSO Quality Assurance Analyst will play a key role in the CUSO Internal Control Framework by conducting quality controls on the CUSO Risk & Compliance Group activities to ensure their adherence to the CUSO Policies & Procedures and assess quality of CUSO Risk & Compliance processes ie if they are operating as expected and in line with the relevant CUSO Policies & Procedures.

Essential duties and responsibilities

The duties of the CUSO Quality Assurance Analyst are as follows but not limited to:

  • Execute quality controls of the CUSO Annual Control Plan assigned to the analyst
  • Prepare and report control results including identified anomalies/findings and proposed corrective measures as per the control procedure, under the required format of the control report and in the control management tool used for that purpose
  • Present and discuss control results with US stakeholders
  • Assist in performing the annual control plan and tracking the status of the plan throughout the year
  • Proactively propose new controls and enhancements to existing controls
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new and enhanced controls
  • Help prepare and report metrics tracking control execution progress
  • Contribute to reporting to senior management and regulatory authorities when required

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University/College in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics or other business-related discipline
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience of working in financial services and conducting control activities
  • Previous experience of working in an international bank operating in the US would be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills, good oral and written communication skills to successfully interact with various internal and external stakeholders including senior management
  • Client focused and ability to effectively and quickly build relationships and establish trust, respect, competence and confidence
  • Ability to challenge, identify and solve problems
  • Well organized, detail oriented, hard working, diligent team player who possesses cultural awareness, intellectual maturity and adaptability to work effectively with various functions of the bank
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Fluency in English for interaction with US stakeholders
